Mr. Pool says that this is probably the last "summer" day of the year. It was in the mid 80's today and will start to consistantly cool down beginning tomorrow.
So I figured we needed to do something... "summer-ish". To the fountain park we headed. We had gone a couple times before this summer. The first time I was surprised to find that Brady really enjoyed himself in the fountains (but I didn't have my camera). The second time we went, he gave me a luke warm reaction to the fountains. So it was hit or miss whether he'd like it today.
Well, at first it was "luke warm"... but then he really got into it! YAY! And I had my camera!

Brady's been telling me lately when something isn't right, doesn't work, or is broken. (for example, "train, broken - fix it" or "hot dog, broken - fix it") He's also been telling me lately that his toys are "sad". Perhaps he's trying to grasp the concept of that emotion since he knows the word now. Well, Brady was telling me that his shoes were sad and at other times they were broken. I think that meant that they were wet and they didn't feel right. Also, when he would put his hand in the fountain at first he would tell me that his hand was broken. (I keep his sandals on because I'm nervous about him stepping on something like glass or something unsanitary...)

"Shoes, sad. Shoes, sad."
Around the perimeter of the fountains there's a continuous drain that goes around and around in different circles. Well, Brady loves to walk around and around following the drain. He did that for a good half hour at least. If someone was standing in his way on the drain, he'd stand still and wait for them to move so he could continue on his path.
around and around and around...
and around and around...
(I love this shot)
Now it's time to REALLY have some fun!

It was a nice afternoon. I had Dylan in the Snugli carrier with a hat on, while I walked around in the fountains near Brady taking pictures.
