10 yr. Highschool Reunion!

Wow! Ten years has gone by already?!?! BCS Class of 98 Reunion was at Hotel Deca in the U District Saturday 9/27! How crazy it was to see so many people I hadn't seen in so long. Our class was around 90 and maybe 30-40 classmates made an appearance (not including guests). I feel bad I didn't get to talk to everyone. But I tried to chat with as many as I could - especially the ones I hadn't seen in ages! Everyone looked great! What fun!

Birthday Fun!

Brady turned 2 on Saturday! We took him to Family Fun Center for some excitement! We went on little kids rides and had a ton of fun! We were worried Brady would be too scared of the rides. He was a little concerned and upset when he got into the airplane with me, but once it started he loved it!

Brady's Birthday Party!

MEESKA MOOSKA, MICKEY MOUSE! Brady had a fabulous 2nd Birthday Party with his friends and family on Sunday evening! It was such a beautiful day too! Brady LOVES Mickey Mouse Clubhouse cartoons and so we had a Mickey themed party! What fun!!

"Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday dear Brady.

Happy Birthday to you!"

Brady started crying when he realized everyone was looking at him and actually singing to him. The crying didn't start until we all sang his name in the song. Poor Brady!

Sick days

After two years in this job, you'd think I would've accumulated a few sick days to take advantage of. Nope. As a mom, you never get a sick day... there's just no time to be sick. I'm ALWAYS working!

Both boys and I are all sick with a cold! YUCK! Crusty, stuffy, runny noses. Sinus pressure. Sore throats. Swollen glands. Sleepy. (X3)

On top of that, Josh is working his Portland run the next few days. (huge sigh)

At least we're sick now and not next weekend!!

Kids, kids, everywhere!

Last Wednesday we had our friends, Jason, Jessica & their 3 kids - Liam (5), Reilly (4), & Natalie (2) - over for an end of summer BBQ! It's so funny to me to see such active vibrant kids in my house because Brady is pretty calm and cautious in how he plays. So to watch these other older kids come into the play room and take out every toy and play with it 5 times over in a matter of 2 minutes is entertaining to me! I'm used to watching Brady take out one car at a time, walk it over to the table or the couch and drive it around for a minute and then properly park it into it's designated parking spot (repeat). But it was a fun time. We haven't had much opportunity to enjoy their company lately. We also enjoyed a beautiful sunset!
