The Coz

Well, I guess 4 cats just wasn't enough for the Gray family. Josh brought home a 5th kitty from Portland where his cousin had a litter of kittens. (Well, the cousin didn't... but their cat did!) It's a little boy this time. He is 6 weeks old, very cute and loves his new name... Cosby. All the other cats are taking to him really well. In fact, most of them could care less! A matter of, "been there done that" I suppose.

Brady LOVES him! But Cosby is very frightened by Brady. Brady laughs, squeals and screams in excitement when he sees "Cosme".

(pardon my dry, crusty heel in this photo)
Lexi has taken on the role of mama to Cosby. She did that with Maya as a kitten too.

What else is he doing?

So I took the boys to Fred Meyer tonight. Dylan's carseat in the main part of the cart, and Brady sitting in the front by the handle. Hard to put anything else in the cart when it's filled with little boys.

ANYWAY... Brady would point out things he saw. Whether it be a duck, a pillow, a chicken (all in the decorating aisles), and then milk, bananas etc. in the food aisles. When we'd walk away from what he saw, he'd say... "Bye, bye duck. See ya later!" or "Bye, bye bananas. See ya later!" It was cute!

Brady's ABC's

As I was putting Brady to bed tonight. I turned the lights out and held him & gave him a big hug before putting him down in his crib. He started singing the ABC's to me. Here's how they went...

to the tune of "ABC's":

A-B-C-D-"EEP"-"EP"-G-"duck"-I-J-K-"elmo"-P-....etc...

He sang through the whole thing, and even did the "now I know.." at the end.

WHAT A SWEETHEART! Melt my heart, why don't you Brady!

Fun in the summer sun!

I can't believe summer is almost over! It has been so wonderful to have this great backyard for Brady to play in this summer! What am I going to do when it gets cold and wet??? What I can't believe though... is that next summer, I'll have two little boys running around out there! CRAZY!

Today Brady, Dylan and I went to Coulon Beach/Park for a little late summer fun! Brady walked barefoot in sand for the first time! We had a little picnic in the sand on a blanket. Then we played on the playground. I was so proud of Brady. He freely played (just as a little boy should) on the playground. Usually, he's so cautious and anxious to enjoy himself.

I wish I had pictures, but I forgot my camera.

Relief for the Seahawks

After that horrible loss to the Bills on Sunday, and the untimely loss of their wide receiver - Nate Burleson... the Seahawks have added a new fresh talent to the line up! Laying long at (approx) 24 inches and weighing in at (approx) 13 pounds, please meet the newest wide receiver for the Seahawks - DJ Gray.

Chilly Goodness

Gotta love a yummy popsicle as an after dinner treat in the summer!

Fun Activities for Brady

We went out for a special evening out at the Family Fun Center to play on the 3-story playland and to have pizza. Outside we watched some exciting go-cart racing and bumper boats etc. It was fun!

This was Brady's last Gym Class at the Little Gym for the semester. Brady has learned to walk on the balance beam holding just one of mommy's hands. He loves to do summersaults with spotting from Mommy or Daddy. He still has a huge fear of the bars. I think he's scared of having his feet off the ground, cause he doesn't like swinging on a swing either.
